Under the leadership of Janna Hymes, music director and conductor, our forty-member professional chamber orchestra takes pride in bringing the excitement and pleasure of classical music to Williamsburg-area audiences.
Subscriptions for the Symphonia's twenty-sixth season are on sale now. Call (757) 229-9857 NOW for tickets to the 2009-2010 Masterworks Concert Series. Don't delay; last season was a sell-out!
An important facet of the Symphonia's community involvement is its collaboration with other arts organizations. We will continue to feature on the cover of each concert program and on our website's Home page a distinctive work by a talented artist from our area. The painting shown below graces the cover of the May concert program. There have been many musical AND visual treats for you during this special anniversary season. Onward to 2009-2010!

There's no better way for the Symphonia to acknowledge its continuing commitment to fine musical performances than by featuring outstanding soloists from all corners of the world! You will be thrilled by their artistry as they skillfully and sensitively present challenging works - old favorites and new adventures in music.
